I'll miss Sookie's snarky humor in the face of almost certain death. Dang, girl, I hope it turns out good for you...
ReplyDeleteI'll miss all the adventures. I bet Charlaine will miss her a lot too. She has to be pretty attached after all this time.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss Snookie so much! I got into reading Sookie's adventures just when I had a really long reading slump, so she'll forever be special to me. I will miss all her adventures!!
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see Snookie go. Loved this series!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping Sookie and Eric get together for her HEA!!
ReplyDeleteI'll miss people finding new ways to sneak up on a telepath. That's always fun.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss the whole universe of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. The characters, the writing and especially the snarky humour. Sookie is one of my favourite protagonists; she is funny, smart and not afraid to stand up for what's right. i will miss reading about such a strong heroine.
ReplyDeleteI don't normally get attached to a book series. This is one of very few that I have read all the way through. Very few authors can create and not only maintain, but grow, their characters and universe. This is a series I can revisit again and again, without losing any of the adventure along the way. I'll miss the whole universe Charlaine has created and the characters I've grown to love. I'll especially miss all of the snarky moments that literally burst me into laughter, and the times that she had my nerves all wrecked, reading furiously to see what was going to happen next lol. Thank you for the whole ride Charlaine, you are well loved by your fans :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll miss everything about the whole series, but one thing would be Sookie's detailed description of what outfit she's going to wear and how well her shoes match or maybe not quite match her outfits.
ReplyDeleteWhat I will miss the most once the series ends is the anticipation of what Sookie's next adventure will be and feeling like we are all part of her journey. Book after book, we have all "called shotgun" on Sookie's wild ride of love, loss and self-discovery. I will truly miss seeing where life takes her next but so thankful for all the years of living vicariously through her to travel into the world of supernaturals.
ReplyDeleteI will truly miss Sookie and all of her friends in Bon Temps. Every year I reread the whole series after reading the latest release. What will I do without Eric every spring?
ReplyDeleteWhat I'll miss most about the Sookie books is, anticipating the release of our yearly treasure and also all the speculation that goes along with it. I think I'll be lost next year without a book to look forward to.............
ReplyDeleteWhat i will miss most about Sookie will be the fun and teasing that she has with Eric. I believe they make a great couple. Sookie has a strong character, and thats what made me want to read more and more about her.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah what i'll miss the most is her friendship/love for him.
Mariana
What I will miss most about Sookie will be Eric. I'm going to be lost next year without a book to look forward to. I hope Charlaine can come up with some kind of spin off for Sookie or Eric.
ReplyDeleteSookie Stackhouse is a true heroine of our generation. I will miss her strength and humor in all situations. She will truly be a memorable character in literature of our time. Also, I couldn't be happier that this book series was chosen to come to life on television. To see her materialize before our eyes in Anna Paquin was very fortunate. Sookie portrays a woman of pure strength and determination. She has the type of sass that you can't help but smile and admire. Sometimes in my life I stop and say, "What would Sookie do in my shoes?" Throughout Sookie's adventures, I have become addicted and memorized by her adventures. She has a way with words and she never gave up, that kept the pages turning for me for years. Thank you Charlaine Harris for bringing this amazing character to life, she will always be a true inspiration and she will be missed.
ReplyDeleteThe thing I'll miss the most about Sookie is her quick exchanges with Pam. :)
ReplyDeleteThe thing I will miss most about Sookie, is all the situations that she gets into, and the feeling that you are living through every moment with her. Thank you for this wonderful series xx
ReplyDeleteI'll miss escaping into Sookie's world, where her problems make mine seem small and insignificant. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteI will miss going along on all of Sookie's crazy adventures and meeting weird creatures and people. Life with Sookie has never been dull. I hope CH leaves the poor woman with a happy ending with the fair-haired Viking I have come to love over the years. Sookie deserves peace, love and happiness. Crossing my fingers until May 7.
ReplyDeleteOh no its the last *wibble* all good things must come to an end sadly but at least we can always revisit that which makes us happy. The characters live on in our imaginations and their own world. Which is probably what Ill miss most, the world that the book covered.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity.
Sookie is one of my favorite characters. Though she has grown and changed during the series, it has not changed who she is. She's still a woman of integrity with a strong sense of justice.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss her wry humour under pressure, and the way that she solves her problems. I'll miss her gentle heart.
ReplyDeleteI will miss her "word of the day" calender and her great use of the words she learns!
ReplyDeleteI will miss the surprises in every book.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss her wit and her ability to think outside the box.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss her intelligence. People always underestimated her, heck she did too. But she is a strong agent of her own life and the books will stand the test of time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for creating these books. I've enjoyed reading and watching it for so long now, and I've been looking forward to every next episode, book or short story. I'll miss it. Thank you for creating something that has helped so many people bond. I hope you give Sookie a graceful last book.
ReplyDeleteI will miss the waiting & wonder of what will happen next!! What drama will Sookie stumble into next? Which friend will need her special talents? Which man will tug at her heart strings? All this & some exceedingly amazing writing that sucks you into a story like none other.... this is what I will miss the most!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool! Would love to have this as a giveaway for my teen book club! :)
ReplyDeleteSookie has become a cherished friend over the years. Her Louisiana soop culture has become a place I love spending long hours. I guess I'll just have to read and reread the books to keep her around. Thanks, Charlaine, for providing a world where so much is possible.
ReplyDeleteShe is like the Curious George of the True Blood World! Lol Thank you for the chance! Mary
ReplyDeleteI have loved reading the journey that Sookie has taken in the books.. and will miss where she could go from here.. No tv show will ever be able to fill the need.. especially in the direction they went last season.. the eye candy is still quite nice though.. ;)
ReplyDeleteI do love all the characters and maybe we can see Pam, Eric, Quinn, Bill, or any number of others get there own book series.. hint hint..
Thanks so much for the opportunity.
This giveaway is now over. Thank you to everyone who entered! Our winner is Bella.
