Left Coast Crime Preview

Later this week, I'll be at the Left Coast Crime convention where we will talk about fake murder for days. I'm looking forward to seeing good friends and helping out with the convention.

On Saturday I'm on a panel called Mystery Aficionados: The Books We Love and Why starting at 11:30 am. The panel is moderated by Bouchercon 2014 chair, Ingrid Willis. My fellow panelists include Les Blatt who runs the Classic Mysteries blog and podcastBarbara Fass Leavy who is the author of THE FICTION OF RUTH RENDELL; ANCIENT TRAGEDY AND THE MODERN FAMILY, and Donus Roberts who is a staff writer for Deadly Pleasures.

We'll all be recommending our favorite books. If you have any favorite books from this year, put them in the comments and I will call them out during the panel.

A bunch of us on the committee for the world's largest mystery convention, Bouchercon will be at a table in the LCC book room handing out cookies to those who register or already have registered for this year's Bouchercon convention. Come by and say hi.

Three day passes are sold out, but there are still a limited amount of day passes available for the event

If you can't make it to Left Coast this year, no worries. We'll be posting about all of the happenings starting this Friday.

  1. I'll be at the conference, talking to everyone who will listen, about my new book, Black Cat's Legacy, a cozy CAT mystery, just out on Amazon in paperback and e-book. Thumper, the cat knows where the bodies are buried and he must help Kimberlee solve her father's cold case murder. The suspects multiply, and someone will stop at nothing to hide the secrets. Hope you will mention my book, and I hope to meet you in person. If you would consider reviewing my book on your site, I'd be happy to send one. Elaine.Faber@mindcandymysteries.
