Writes of Passage
We talk way more about books than we do writing on Mystery Playground, but many of us write fiction as well. Sisters in Crime, a professional organization for crime writers, has come out with a new book featuring a series of essays from writers on their journey. It's called Writes of Passage: Adventures on the Writer's Journey.
Edited by author and Emmy award-winning TV reporter, Hank Phillipi Ryan, it features essays ranging from Hallie Ephron entitled, I Get My Best Ideas at Yard Sales, Kelli Stanley on Committing Yourself, and Laurie R. King on Writing a New Family.
Whether you are interested in writing, or just the writing process, you may want to pick up a copy.

I hadn't heard of this book, but it sounds really good. As always, I get the best ideas from this blog!
ReplyDeleteI received a copy if this because I am the President of the Cleveland NEO SinC chapter and I thought that was very nice of them.
