Steampunk Time Travel Watch Face Pin

Today we're making a Steampunk Time Travel Watch Face Pin. I added time travel to the name because the watch face doesn't have hands so that makes it timeless. Once you've assembled your materials, it's super easy.

Materials:

  • Pin back - Found Objects (I got mine at Michaels)
  • Antique watch face (I used a real one, found on eBay)
  • Beads
  • E 6000 glue
  • Pin back
  • One head pin
  • Jewelry pliers
Step One:
Put the glue on the back of the watch face and adhere it to the center of the "found object" backing as the wrapper called it. Since it's lattice, I took the extra precaution of adding more glue on the back side through the holes, pushing the glue through for extra adhesion. Let the glue dry.

Step Two:
Glue the pin back to the back side of the the "found object" being careful that it is in the middle directly behind the watch face so it hides the pin and the pin is centered.

Step Three:
Take your head pin and string it through the hole in your bead. Make a loop at the end and loop it through the hole at the bottom of the "found object." Wrap the long end of the wire around to secure the bead.

And you're done!

I made two they were so easy.
