Rocks from Around the World & Tribune Tower

Life has taken me to Chicago quite a bit lately, which means I've gotten a chance to see Tribune Tower, home of the Chicago Tribune newspaper, up close. The outside walls feature rocks from buildings all over the world (and Chicago based ballparks). I found it so fun that I had to share.

You can see photos of most of the rocks on the Chicago Architecture site. Apparently there used to be a moon rock, but it was removed.

History of the magnificent building can be found here. The Tribune company sold the build in September 2016 for redevelopment, but supposedly the new owners plan maintain the character of the building
