May is Short Story Month
May is Short Story Month so we'll be featuring different short stories over the next few weeks, as we did with Terrie Farley Moran's Derringer Award Winning Story, "Inquiry & Assistance."
This week we wanted to tell you about the wealth bite sized crime fiction offered on the The Short Mystery Fiction Society blog. They are featuring a link to a story every day this month from of one their members. So far, you can read fabulous free stories from Victoria Westfield, O'Neil De Noux, Earl Staggs, Jude Roy, Diana Deverell, Michael Bracken, Barb Goffman, and Cynthia St. Pierre. It's a festival of short crime fiction.
Short stories can be a great way to get to know a new author. You may also want to check out Robert Lopresti's excellent blog, Little Big Crimes, where he reviews the best short story he's read every week and Catherine Dilts also writes excellent short story reviews over on her blog.
