“Ricordo di” means “memories of” in Italian. I found these little Italian Memory books filled with pictures from postcards at wonderful flea markets in Rome. Each little vacation souvenir book opens up to an accordion of post card photos with little descriptions on the back of each card, with a wonderful stylized map behind all the cards.
Some of the photos are in color, and some are in black and white. The color photos look like they were colorized. I’m not sure how old these books are. One person at the market told me 1930s and another told me 1940s. The garb of the people in the post cards is definitely of that time. They are so beautiful, I just had to share.
What a find! These are wonderful, and even better if they're from the 30s or 40s.
