Harry Bosch Hits the Small Screen

Michael Connolly's Harry Bosch character, played by Titus Welliver, is now the star of his own TV show on Amazon Prime (which is not on regular TV, you have to go to Amazon to view it). The pilot is available for live streaming now. And Amazon is looking for feedback on the show.

The series chronicles Bosch, a Los Angeles Police Department officer, as he tries to solve the murder of a 13-year old boy while he's being tried for murdering a rapist/murderer. Lots of angst there.

I watched the pilot and loved it. I was pretty sure I would like it, but had no idea I would love it.

The show starts before the title with us watching Bosch shoot the killer in the past and then fast forwards to the trial in the present day. Bosch can't seem to do anything but work, so he embroils himself in the cold case of the murder of the boy while the trial is still going on, even though he's technically on leave.

After one episode, I am hooked. I just lost myself in it. In an airport waiting for a delayed flight. It was like I wasn't waiting at all. I am so excited to watch the rest of the season.

What about you? Will you watch Bosch?
