The Murder at the Vicarage!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Agatha Christie novel is Death on the Nile. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time picking my favorite (although The Body in the Library would be up there). So I will have to say I just love Poirot!
ReplyDeleteAppointment with death. elliotbencan(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI love all her Poirot and Miss Marple mysteries, but I think one of my favorites is The Clocks. Poirot doesn't really make a grand entrance until the end when he of course solves the case, but he, along the way, critiques a few mystery writers which is a bit of fun.
ReplyDeleteI always loved The Mirror Crack'd

Loved Death on the Nile!!
ReplyDeleteThe play version of "And Then There Were None" (aka Ten Little Indians).
ReplyDeleteI loved Poirot and Miss Marple. I loved all the Agatha Christie books I have read and there are quite a number of them.
ReplyDeleteI love Hercule Poirot and his 'little grey cells."
ReplyDeleteDeb,
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the Malice photos.
A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED is my favorite Agatha Christie.

Death on the Nile. I love Poirot.
ReplyDeleteI love Hercule Poirot... he has birthed so many other wonderful characters and I think more has been commented on him than just about any other well-loved character in modern mystery! He has layers and layers and I'd love to see how one of our stars like Hank might deal with him in a modern version - an update of Hercule Poirot.. Thelma Straw in Manhattan, longtime fan of Malice and all mystery writers, published and not-yet- pubbed.pubbed!!!!! Keep trying , everyone, there is your road ahead yet!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA Murder is Announced
ReplyDeletePoirot in Murder on the Orient Express.
ReplyDeleteWait, we have to have a FAVORITE? Hmmm...I think it would be Murder on the Orient Express. I loved the tradition of gathering all the suspects in one room and then revealing the culprit and it was used to particularly good effect in that one :D
ReplyDeleteThanks to a friend who attends many conferences with her husband (Rosemary and Larry Mild) I often walk around Honolulu carrying a black bag with red lettering: Congratulations Joan Hess on 20 years of Mystery, Mayhem and Mirth. No one has called me "Joan" yet, but I'm pleased to see Joan's picture here today! Aloha, Gail
ReplyDeleteAnd the there were none!
ReplyDeleteSleeping Murder!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Tracy. .. And then there were none. .aka elephants can remember. .. Maybe because it was my first one.
ReplyDeleteI have got to get to Malice some year! It sounds like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThe Murder at the Vicarage
ReplyDeleteFive Little Pigs (aka Murder in Retrospect) in which Poirot solves a cold case. The Poirot TV version is faithful to the original and contains all the clues the viewer needs to solve the case.
ReplyDeleteI was at Malice last year, and I wish I were there now!
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Evil Under the Sun.
