Today is Adopt a Black Cat Day. Black cats and kittens are often the last little guys to find a home at shelters around the country. I'm currently pet guardian to two wonderful black cats - Barnum (above) & Bailey - and I can say how loving and beautiful they are. They have such fun distinctive personalities. Barnum likes to post for photos while Bailey finds it hard to sit still for the camera. Bailey loves visitors and Barnum likes to curl up on my desk while I write.
So if you're looking for a new little friend, consider a black cat or kitten. You'll be glad you did.
