Bath Time with Poirot, Sherlock & Poe
Well, there's a Poirot scented candle so why not Agatha Christie scented bath products. These mysterious bubble bars can be found on Etsy. The Agatha Christie bar smells like espresso and burnt sugar. I'm not sure how those scents relate to Dame Agatha but the bar creator (owner of the The Base Element Etsy Store) says,
"Crumbled under warm running water, this luxurious bar will fill your bath with the scent of rich espresso coffee and delicious burnt sugar, soften your skin, calm your mind, and give you loads of gorgeous, thick, silky bubbles. It will not plunge you into a murder featuring a country house circa 1927 and a dead body on the hearth rug... or will it...???!!"
Other bars include the Poisoned Apple, which is scented with you guessed it, Apple, but also...
"Worry not. The Poisoned Apple bubble bar is completely evil-spell-free. However, it smells of lovely crisp fresh Granny Smiths, wrapped around Applejack & Peel's zesty top notes of lemon and grapefruit, middle notes of peach, orange, cinnamon and clove, and base notes of maple and vanilla. Fantastic!"
The Wicked Stepmother Bubble Bar sounds way nicer than the Wicked Stepmother from Cinderella deserves.
"The WICKED STEPMOTHER Bubble Bar is scented with the fresh blue fragrances of Ocean Breeze and Sea Salt. Crumbled under warm running water, this luxurious bubble bar will fill your bath with the gorgeous scent of the seaside, soften your skin, calm your mind, and give you loads of gorgeous, thick, silky bubbles. It will not turn you into a cold-hearted, cold-eyed, blue-haired harridan with well-developed sadistic tendencies... unless you're into that... you do you, lovely."
The Gomez & Morticia Addams bar is scented with red current and white tea:
The Holmes and Moriarty Bar is scented with English Lavender and Peppermint Supreme.
Poe's The Raven Bar is scented like Dark Chocolate and Ginger.
There are so many others - London After Midnight, Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Butterbeer, Bride of Frankenstein, Surrender Dorothy. While none of the scents above are the first scents I'd associate with the characters, stories and authors, they do sound love lovely bath products and the stories around them are super fun.
